We had the most wonderful stay at Gnome Cottage in Devon. the property was incredibly comfortable and well equipped, with everything we could possibly need. the hosts, Lorraine and Jim, were lovely and made us feel welcome. the location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. We especially loved the sound of the river running past the cottage in the garden. It was a great place for our kids too, as they enjoyed playing the games provided and putting away their electronics. We will definitely be back if we're ever in the area again. Huge thank you to Lorraine and Jim!
Hard to think of anything 🤔.

This place was jaw-dropping! The stunning cottage with a cute backyard and big windows was mind-blowing. The facilities were super, including Wi-Fi, a dryer, and an electric kettle. The location in the beautiful countryside was perfect for exploring. We were pleasantly surprised to find farm shops just steps away and a village with a chain supermarket only 5 minutes drive away. The hosts were lovely, and the ample off-site car park provided convenience. The cottage itself was very comfortable, with a great TV for entertainment. The private outside area was beautiful, and we enjoyed the cream teas waiting for us on arrival. The quiet location in the hamlet provided a peaceful atmosphere, and the four poster bed in the Master bedroom added a charming touch. The small garden with a BBQ and garden furniture was well-equipped, and the high fence gave us total privacy. We even had enough space for parking our trailer with a motorcycle. The overall experience was really enjoyable, especially with the close proximity to beaches and easy access to Exeter and the M5. We would definitely return to this amazing place if we had the chance.

Free WiFi that was as reliable as British weather. Garden provided great views of quiet hamlet, perfect for sipping tea and maintaining the illusion of rural bliss. Four poster bed made me feel like I was in a Jane Austen novel.
WiFi required a journey to the nearest town, because who needs convenience when you can drive and get a limited amount of free parking?
